A great way to bring a Moonbase to life is with motorized rail vehicles.

LEGO Monorails, Spacetrains and fan-created vehicles like the MTV make a layout look more alive and interesting.

Track Placement

Unlike modules and corridor placement, there is no strict standard for where track goes.

When a Moonbase is set up, the modules are shifted around and hooked up, then the track is laid down.

There are usually a few "anchor" modules brought that incorporate track in a terminal or station. Beginning to lay track out from these spots is usually a good idea.

Clearance

You should always consider clearance when making a vehicle to run on any of the track. Your vehicle is going to be running under, over and around dozens of modules, corridors and obstacles.
