Moonway & MTV's
The Moonway is made up of LEGO Racer track and vehicles like the MTV. The track and vehicles are typically low enough that they can run underneath corridors. Ramp track pieces can elevate the track at 4 brick intervals.

Moonway & MTV's
The geometry of the track is great, in that a moonway curve will fit exactly inside a train curve, so you can have them run along side each other in areas.

Build an MTV
Here are some basic instructions for building a motorized vehicle that runs on LEGO racetrack. It's called a Moonbase Transportation Vehicle, or MTV for short. It's much cooler than the normal MTV.
Here are the parts you'll need to build this

The MTV rolls along pretty fast. It can navigate turns and climb ramps easily.

These instructions are for the basic build. You can modify it or add on to it all you want. Experiment with what works on your own LEGO race track. Add a few cars and see how much weight it can pull along the track or up ramps.

|
Consider height and clearance when you build an MTV. Remember that when you bring this vehicle (and maybe some track) to a Moonbase display, the vehicle will probably be driving under several other module corridors or other structures.
