The Corridor
Here's a very basic 12 stud long corridor.
This basic formula must be adhered
to in order for all Moonbase modules to connect properly. The end of the corridor must
be flush with the edge of the baseplate. In addition, corridors must be centered
along the side of the baseplates. Once again, its very important that all modules'
connecting corridors be aligned in the EXACT same way. If a module is not aligned
properly and brought to a moonbase, it will be infested with fleebnorks and launched
into space.

First floor corridors are 10 bricks up from the baseplate.

This shows the corridors "floorplate". All first floor corridors are built at this height. If you're confused about the corridor's height, try to ignore the slopes and bricks at the end of the corridor and just look at where the "floorplate". Right on top of 10 bricks.

Corridors don't have to be as plain as the one you've seen so far. This corridor is a bit different. It has some detail and decoration but still has the same general corridor shape and complies with the Moonbase standard.

Build a Corridor
Here are some building instructions for a simple corridor. Your own corridors may need to be longer or shorter but this should help you get started.

Aside from how your moonbase corridor connects to other modules, think about how it's built into your own module. Is it permenantly built into your module or can it be removed and placed in a new spot? The four module-side 1x2 bricks in this corridor are there to help you better integrate the corridor into your module. Play around with different ideas and see what works best for you.
